A United Nations study indicates that a significant portion of elder abuse is intimate partner violence. As 10,000 baby boomers every day turn 65 years old, cases of abuse in later life are on the rise. During this session, we will hear from older survivors describing their experience. We will explore key dynamics of abuse in later life and effective strategies to respond, as well as identify community partners and promote a collaborative response to these complex cases.
