Domestic violence is still a mystery and a rarely discussed issue. Though it is a public health and social crisis, the awareness of the prevalence and dynamics of domestic violence is still not present in our social lexicon, and when it is present, there are still many misconceptions about who is impacted and how we make change. This session will give insight to the overall issue of domestic violence and those common misconceptions that are associated with it.
